A Quick Worktop Change

You don’t have to go all out to give your kitchen a fresh new look. If your units are still in good condition, a cheaper and easier option would be to just update the work surfaces.

We have a range of different worktop materials available, including quartz, corian, wood, granite, glass and laminate. And this doesn’t have to be the same throughout the kitchen. Contrasting materials has become a very attractive choice in kitchen designs and this is not limited to the units. Why not create a contrast with a stone worktop and a wooden island worktop? Since you are keeping the flooring, everything new has to be in relation to the floor. Do you have a photo of the floor? Hold up samples of the cabinet paint and see if it enhances the flooring. You might need a more cream paint on cabinet and see these dark knobs. Some of the marble-type have many gray streaks. I'd look for something with brown-beige streaks to enhance the beige grout and beige floor tilehttps://www.houzz.com/photos/traditional-bathroom-traditional-bathroom-phvw-vp~93581 The back splash I'd do in the same "marble" as the counters b/c if you match the beige grout of the floors, with the subway tile, the back splash tile will look odd and if you use a white grout on the subway tile, it will look odd with the floors, too.

Agree about the white door ...along with the floor ... Not sure .....if you are changing the lampshade .....light fitting ..... Simply ...things Like just changing cabinet handles ... changes a look .... Love the backslash ...yes really !!!! You.... (as already said ) Could just change the worktops ... Everything I guess is ..... Depending on your budget €€€€€€ But why .....change tooooo much ...... if it's not broken !!!! As the saying goes ... If it's not broke don't fix it ......
