Dining Table Choice....

Having a bit of issue trying to figure out which dining table to get. For a while now I've had my eyes set on the first option here and I was going to get it next payday:

And then today, I was randomly checking out another site and saw this one that looks kinda different:

Colour wise, the first one is obviously just plain white and the 2nd one has been described as grey on the website, but a reviewer said it was more taupe/stone colour. Currently the kitchen is mostly grey cabinets and oak effect worktop, and its a open dining/living, with mostly white/wood/bamboo/grey in the living area. Going for a scandic style with elements of industrial. So now I'm not sure... I'm going to get the Ikea SVENBERTIL Seat shell with BRORINGE Underframe, pairing it white shell/black underframe and oak shell/white underframe.

Ideas?

For what it’s worth I really like the first. It has a 60’s vibe which incorporates well with Scandi style, I think.

Hmm... yeah, I do like the first one as well. And the rather vague colour description on the 2nd is also a bit iffy.

Hi, I have found lights I love but am unsure of configuration over my dining table. Am thinking 2 large (450mm wide) or 3 small 250mm (or 300mmm) over the table. The restriction I have is the flat roof width above the table is just 93cm wide (see where current IKEA shade is hanging). I'm worried might look a bit squeezed, The table length is 2 meters. The 3rd picture is similar but with 5 sides instead of 4. Could pick either. Would love some opinions and any other thoughts? Thank you!

The room is 14.5 ft x 14 ft (427 x 442cm). The table length that looks right on a paper pattern is 8ft or 244cm. The width that looks right is 56'' to 60'' (142-152cm) but no tables are as wide as that. Will I have to get a table made or is there any other solution?

Hello We have a 2.2 metre table in an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge room. Its a vaulted ceiling and we have chandelier type light in the centre. The dining table is on one side of the room and a lounge with sofas on the other side. The ceiling is 320cm high and Im just at a loss as to what type of light to put over the table should it be 1, 2, 3? Should they be individual or grouped together? Any ideas welcomed Thanks

Yes, and I can’t really work out what the second one is made of - painted metal? Hard to tell. Of course the choice is yours. I hope more Houzzers will comment, guys?
