Have you thought about choosing furniture first? If not try that. The reason for that is your bed and other furniture such as dressers and wardrobes will take centre stage, so that should take priority. Perhaps there's a particular style or piece of art that inspires you and with that can get you started. Perhaps choose colour last as it can be something to complement all your furniture, carpet, window dressing etc. Don't forget to think about lighting, so important in a bedroom, soft bedside lamps for reading and relaxing and maybe a brighter central light for dressing, etc. Windows are important too. Too often they're neglected, if you're a light sleeper think about blackout backed curtains or blinds. And it's here and with rugs/ carpets, pillows and throws where you can really have a bit of fun. What type of chair is this and where can it be bought

It looks like a Thonet Bentwood chair of which there are many many copies. They were made in Czechoslovakia , as was. I have a set of copies but can see no name. If you want originals try www.midcenturymodern.co.uk. which is a great website and which also holds exhibitions, mainly in London at Dulwich College. Good luck!

Hi there Victoria, Crittall windows are originally by Crittall Windows Limited, who can be found on Houzz. However, I believe they're located in Essex, UK, but you can always track down a local supplier by clicking "Find Pros" on the banner at the top of the page and searching for Crittall.
