These walls look too plain beside Red Brick wall, any ideas please?
Comments (20)I agree deepen the color, don't change it and yes art art art! maybe lessen the presence of the brick with the earlier suggestion of the metal cogs its and use traditional artwork pics/nature/paintings on the painted wall. I also like the idea to paint the part of the wall that juts out in a darker shade of the same color. Now you have lots to consider and lots to dismiss as well. Good luck and have fun...See MoreMy Before and After picture for my garden
Comments (95)It makes me cross that people think they have a right to make some quite negative comments on this post. Masmccar76 put these photos on because she thought people would like to see a genuinely lovely transformation of her garden. Instead there have been some downright nasty comments. By all means make comments but keep them constructive. Houzz is all about is sharing ideas, not about being nasty...See MoreMoving home for two disabled women
Comments (35)not alot happening at the moment, its winter! alotta rain, lotta. but i am bedding down to get this over with and maybe in the spring the spirits will rise once more. i hope so. i would love to feel i was doing something to keep my hopes and dreams alive, i dont see what i can do until the spring. when i bring the topic up, especially to those that moved away and came down this neck of the woods, they say they had friends who felt it was too far too and moved back home. i guess thats how i feel, thats what i want and i just want to be a bit more uplifted, i think rain dampens down things a bit!!! santa Ma Margaret!...See MoreColour help needed for accent wall
Comments (6)Instead of doing something like a paint color, why not expand into doing something a little more bold and daring like wood planking or grass cloth, etc.? This will not only help accent your "neutral," kitchen wall color, but will also allow you to continue flow throughout the space and give you a more well rounded and grounded space. I would heavily consider doing something that adds not only texture but depth to the space, paint color is great, but accent walls are a thing of the past! Give your kitchen the POP it deserves and your space will be transformed....See Moretamp75
