Dirty room to Bathroom!
It's not finished yet but I'm so pleased with the results so far I wanted to show them off!
We have had a bathroom created from scratch (no plumbing was there) from a small bedroom at the top of the stairs of our Victorian terrace.
The bathroom still needs finishing touches - painting (white), electrics, and wallpaper on the ceiling (Osborne & Little's Derwent in green).
I have posted the before photos first showing what it was like when the house was being sold and what it was like when we removed the furniture fittings and carpet.

Comments (2)Hello Edel, Well you are in the fortunate place having a loo and shower downstairs.. I am sure this might become useful when the boys are older.. So if you wanted more wardrobe space.. This doesn't have to involve wall to wall cupboards.. You could have free standing wardrobes.. A bigger bathroom would mean you could have double wall hung sinks and large walk in shower and a separate bath.. Wall hung loo as well.. Or possibly you could create a wet room style shower and loo and separate walk in closet.. accessed from your bedroom. Keep a bathroom next door.. Comments (3)We have made room for an en-suite shower room to our guest room we went for the largest shower cubicle we could reasonably fit in. Found the nicest white tiles to make the best of the space. Fitted bifold shower screen feeling the space was too small for a wet room( too much drying off of the fittings and paddling water beyond the area). toilet opposite, and sacrificed on the basin, just a small wash hand basin. Our thinking being that these days people tend to shower rather than wash and the smaller basin works well for teeth cleaning and hand washing. it works well.
