I really need your creative ideas!
My victorian flat has a lounge that used to be fully square with the fireplace in the centre of the wall. The previous owner has built the bathroom into the lounge so that the room is no longer square (it has a chunk taken out) and the fireplace is now effectively next to the bathroom so not symmetrical with the other side anymore.
The fireplace extends out with the chimney breast and then is very ugly and made of brick with a wide opening.
Does anyone have any ideas?
-We were thinking either bricking it in and plastering it
-Getting a new fireplace put on the front but is still assymetrical
-Removing the entire chimney breast - EXPENSIVE
-Re-working the bathroom so that the room us symmetrical again - VERY EXPENSIVE
Help!!!
