I need a new rug for my sitting room
Comments (21)Love your carpet choices here! I noticed that there no artwork on the walls yet. This will elevate the mood of the room since you will need an upper emphasis once your room is anchored with the carpet. It is easier to decorate around a rug, the one you love for sure, than around a focal piece, such as art. After you choose from any of the beautiful carpets above that work with your interior, take a photo of the room with the carpet installed in it. Have fun looking for the artwork that best sings with your carpet. and that grabs you. After you have the choice of art up on the wall, look for small accessories of colour of shape, size and texture that work with the whole composition last. Do not forget something living such as plants, which take the sterility out of the room, especially neutral walls and natural floors....See MoreDining table advice for my new modern kitchen. Comments (0)Have lots of space and am looking for 8 seater min, with perhaps extending to 10. Rectangular or Circular, but think rectangular would work best. Kitchen pic is of showroom, my kitchen is being fitted at the moment. I have wood effect tiles in bleached blonde on the floor and have chosen a very modern over table light. Thanks in advance....See MoreLighting advice please!
Comments (1)Lovely room. I think spots would work although I do love a light fitting over a table. If it's an are where you read etc there may not be enough light there if you do decide to go with the light fitting so you may need a couple of spots also...See MoreHelp - looking for a pendant for dining room table
Comments (0)Hello We have a 2.2 metre table in an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge room. Its a vaulted ceiling and we have chandelier type light in the centre. The dining table is on one side of the room and a lounge with sofas on the other side. The ceiling is 320cm high and Im just at a loss as to what type of light to put over the table should it be 1, 2, 3? Should they be individual or grouped together? Any ideas welcomed Thanks...See MoreManon Floreat
