Comments (36)I would also definitely go white if the windows are on the green wall. Will be much more natural to tie the accent wall with the stark wht contrasting walls. Always a very chic contemporary look. Also very relaxing as opposed to the treatments standing out when you already have your standout feature- the green accent wall. Great white bed you ordered! Then I love all the blue/green/ silver accent advice. I did a similar room in purples/greys/ whites and we used great posted prints of florals with a little oriental flair in nice big mats w frames. You could do florals or nice big botanicals in greens would be very fresh and modern!! White or silver frames or maybe even the shock of black would be cool....See Moreneed help with my living room
Comments (37)Hello CG, you can buy some of these and try them on site. From the pictures you posted I get the feeling you have 2 colors with similar saturation both fighting for attention. It's a little too much. I would keep the green but go softer on the red (i.e rust). You can also let yourself be inspired by the grey/silver/bordeaux floral and stripe pillows to create a brand new color scheme using these colors instead. For example, a very soft gray on the walls, gray carpet, grey/bordeaux combo in the curtains and for the sofa accents, pillows similar to these 2. It's decision time. 5 years agolast modified: 5 years agoI like some styles by Hudson Valley lighting and Feiss but they can be relatively pricey, depending. We did Hudson Valley Thompson sconces in my mom's master bath and they were very well-made (had to buy a 12-pack of replacement bulbs at luxurylightingdirect though since they take a longer than a typical T10 bulb and it looks better with the longer 8.5" bulb. The sconces came with 1 bulb each, but 1 burned out right away and that's when I realized the 8.5" bulb length is not typical for a T10 bulb.)
We got both Thompson sconces at around half-price because they were either open-box returns or clearance at the bellacor website. Just by chance I stumbled across 1 open-box/clearance one on the bellacor site and bought it. Then I checked the site every single day for about a month until another one came up open-box or clearance.
