Can anyone recommend the best way of achieving the look of frameless glass window on the cheap. Do you just build the plasterboard up so the frame is hidden?
You would build a wooden frame around your glass and set the wooden frame in to the wall, then plaster board over. So, in theory the answer is yes to above.
You would see the frame externally unless the bricks overhang the window frame which would be a bit more fiddly to do. If you have external cladding this can overhang the window frame which might be a bit easier.
