Just at the end of my extension. It's very narrow 2.7m wide by 6m length. I would like to move the kitchen into there. Issue is I can get standard units on one side but narrow ones on the other due to the French doors being in the middle. I have seen some great units from DIY Kitchens however there reduce larder units come with shelves no drawers. Drawers work better with storage. How can i over come this problem. Should I purchase drawer units separately and get them installed?
If they are reduced depth, drawers aren’t needed for most items. I have a unit that is 350mm deep- perfect for packets of cereal, cans fit 3x deep. I use baskets for smaller items such as oils and spices.
If you don’t mind internal drawers (where you have to open the cupboard door then pull out a drawer) you can buy reduced depth internal drawers in various places, which could be retrofitted to the shallow cupboard. For example here:
Hi. Just wondering if you found a solution. I would love to fit a pull out larder on one side of my chimney breast which is 42.5cms. Just in case you came across any?
