Comments (15)First before you think of putting grey on your walls take into account the light in your kitchen. Where do you live? Is it sunny most of the year? Is your sky grey 4 to 6 months of the year in the winter and spring? Grey can be very depressing when you are surrounded by it day after day. My vote is for white walls or a light color. You also have to take into account what the other rooms are painted that are open to the kitchen's sight line....See MoreI want to update my kitchen by re-facing kitchen units and worktops
Comments (6)Thanks folks.. The unit doors are solid pine and the ceiling is red deal..( hope that's the correct spelling!) It's a cosy space but a little dark I think, if not too overbearing with all the wood.....See MoreOpen plan area but not sure what colour to choose on walls
Comments (0)I'm looking for advise on what colour to choose in my open plan kitchen/dining, living space. Ideally I'd like to have the kitchen/dining area in a different colour to the main living area. The kitchen is contemporary, white units and white worktop with metallic grey on appliances. I would like to paint the kitchen/dining walls grey but I don't want it too dark for the room and then have a paint colour for the living area that would suit/fit well with grey painted walls. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks!...See MoreJonathan
