Roughly how much would something like this cost to do we are thinking about converting our deck off the kitchen into a similar room

It's really difficult to give you a definitive price as it depends on the design and build of the room on your property. I can say that on average, our rooms vary and can start in the mid $40's and go up from there.

I will definitely send you pictures we have a colonial with a 24x16 deck on The back of the house which is accessed through a sliding door from the kitchen we would like to make that a 24 x 20 and use some of the existing deck re-purposed the decking to then push the deck towards the side of the four seasons room The deck and compasses the kitchen sink window and one of the windows in the great room so we would need to configure it to not have those windows inside the new room which means the room would have to go out into the yard going back

Hi Fellow Houzzers, Question to everyone on here, especially Ireland, what is the average cost of building a neat sized 3 bedroom house Vs getting a handy fixer upper and putting money into it. Hi All I am lucky enough to live in a house that 99% of people would say is perfectly fine, But i dont like the layout or style.my problem is I cant move and as the house would cost approx 400k euros to rebuild I am not sure if I would be happy when finished . The front cannot be changed to a minimalist box of my desire ,but the rest can. This cost would leave me with no money. I am 55yo and dont want to spend my last 30 years not happy with the house and broke as well. I am looking for advice from somebody who could convey their experience as to how their remodel enhanced the quality of life over the expense. Long shot i know . regards Gary

Hello, recent first time buyer needing a plaster job done in my 4.2m x 3.5m kitchen. An electrician has moved my sockets and i've now boarded up the ceiling, ready for plastering. Had no idea what to expect on cost but first quote came in at €1000 - that's to skim the ceiling, fill in the chased holes in 2 of the walls as pictured and smooth out the areas that will be exposed after new units and tiles are fitted. The price knocked me for six, but maybe this is standard? I'm based in Monaghan. Quote stated thistlebonding, stripping boast plaster, beading, taping and skimming. Had to google what most of that meant, maybe there's more work involved than I thought? Any advice appreciated.
