Bathroom mirror dilemma

Hi

my sink is below the window... i have attached a photo (pre renovation). I want to put a mirror on the right wall ... shall I put a round or rectangular mirror? Any idea on how to provide a mirror in front of the window????

How about a dressing table mirror with stand that can sit on the windowsill? The Range and Dunelm sell them, as well as Wayfair and Houzz shop. In fact you can get them anywhere! Here’s a sample pic.

Hello Orlac2, yes you could turn the bath round and have a smaller one.. Like a tubby.. You could also take out the bath and install a shower, have a wet room style with full tiling and back to wall sink and loo.. Could be a rather luxurious shower room.. but if the bath is required then why not look at getting a Tubby Torre by Albion. They have a whole range but this is a favourite.. It can be painted any colour you like.. I like the copper colour.. You get a really fantastic soak and it's a beautiful little tub! As well as a shower. : ))

Hi There, Does anyone know if recessed ceiling light positioned on each side of main bathroom mirror would give good lighting for make up etc? I have small bathroom and was hoping to put 2 recessed over the bath area and 2 recessed (further together) over the mirror. I could do wall lights but design does not lend itself to this. Thanks for thoughts

few ideas depending on whether or not the bottom of your window opens - or if it just opens from the top (above the handle) ? ....

1) suspended mirror ie one that hangs from a rod at the top of the window and hangs down. You can either have a loose fix one (hanging) or one that has a rod at the bottom as well to keep it sturdy. Hanging one would mean you could unhook it whenever you need full access to the window though.

2) sliding mirror. Rail going across the window alcove under the opener and the mirror frame sits on that and slides (like a mirrored cabinet in effect). Bit harder to make/find but could be used like a cabinet as it would hide some products on the shelf behind it.

3) Get a heavy duty extending arm like the small mirror you currently have already, but fix a larger mirror to it. Doesn't need to be massive

There’s plenty of interesting options to install a mirror in front of the window. Like Tani H-S already mentioned, you can opt for a suspended mirror or a wall mounted one with a swing arm design..You can shop for great ones at Wayfair.co.uk

How about a corner cabinet (triangular footprint) in the corner above the WC, with a mirror in the door? Your bathroom is the mirror image of one I lived with for years, and we found the corner mirror worked really well because it's out of the way, it gives you extra storage space, and the 45 degree change of shape in the corner softens up the room.

Does anyone know the techinical name of the pole mounted mirrors that can be mounted in fron of windows? Sometimes they can swivel within their frames. I am trying to search for CAD block for onw but not sure how to search for it.
