Improving Kerb Appeal

Looking for some inspiration...So i have a 1970s bungalow with a converted garage. I really would like to improve the appearance of the flat roof so it merges with the building a bit more. The roof on the bungalow really limits what i can do and i cant visualise how it would look if i had a small gable roof put on etc. I also was thinking of new windows and rendering but again im finding it hard to imagine what it would look like. Any idea welcome.
