Hello and thank you for your inquiry. The fireplace was installed by another trade so we would not be able to answer that question for you but if you would contact Camelot homes the Builder who supplied the product they should be able to help you with that answer. We have installed the finished trim carpentry carpentry which includes doors molding and locks. We would be able to help you with any of those products. Thanks again!

Seeing your love of geometrics and clean lines, would you consider adding some interest and texture with a geometric pattern tile, topped with a beech (is that the material in your alcove units?) mantle shelf? Very modern, but also very custom and interesting. At the moment, the space is quite sparse (but gorgeous!) and this might help warm things up a bit? There are also some amazing turkish tiles around now (2nd pic) that would add even more colour, but that might be a bit much for you? I would love it though!

Totally agree with Coco Nuts. It's a beautiful fireplace and only painting the mantle shelf and placing a large mirror would give it a contemporary look.

Hi everyone.I have a very large stone fireplace in my living room. I'm not crazy about it at all and would love to change it up. I can deal with below the mantle, it's from the mantle up that I can't stand. I have a very small budget so i don't think removing it is an option.
