Need help on decorating wall in entrance

The entrance is square and up to roof.There's 2 big walls going up to roof, one with the stairs and one plain that need decoration.I already have purple curtains and mat, and mirror + chest of drawer.A chair and light will go under stairs (not bought yet).I was thinking of a wallpaper or some pictures for the big wall but don't want something that would darkened the space too much.Would like your help and ideas !Thanks
