wood colour help needed

Hi
I am new to this! I am getting an extension and I like the Swedish design like wood and oaks and texture more so then the clinical white clean polished look!
I was honking grey floors but would that go with some oak furniture? And also if I’m thinking grey wood floors what kind of doors throughout the house would I go for? I’ve been searching image but can’t seem to see any
Any help gratefully welcome I haven’t got a great eye and it’s my first home so I’m new to interiors

Yellows/creams/ whites/ and grays are very fresh right now. The gray can range from light silver to charcoal, but it won't take away from bright and airy feel, because it really makes the yellows and creams stand out.

Thank you for your suggestions and ideas! I love some of the more daring/colourful ideas, but I don't think I'm, personally, bold enough to go with such a contemporary look. I'm going to stick to a traditional/modern style and use large (4" x 8") white subway tiles and dark grey grout. I'm thinking of using a dark grey paint around the kitchen walls and then a lighter shade around the rest of the room, with maybe the dark grey on the wall behind the TV too. Will be a few more weeks before that's all done, but I'll post a picture when I eventually get there. Thanks again!

Window shopping and lots of online browsing.! .haven't purchased anything yet!. Just getting house back in order after painting! I have put back the red/winey curtains that I previously had up...convinces me more to go with a neutral colour. The walls are rich Taupe but with a slight grey hue off them so I think the bottom left above actually might work. I have bedding very similar so I took them out and held up and think it would look very nice. Purple isn't a theme in my house (although I do have one bedroom painted purple/lilac) My sitting room is white red black and silver and living/kitchen room is tan and red. I want a rug that wont show up the dirt that much...I live in the country side and have lots of dirty feet coming in so I cant go for any rug that is too light in colour

Hello Shassad85, As Far as the description of the house interior. I can suggest checking out at Benjamin Moore Brand paint color: Soft Sand 2106-60 That's the paint color number. Other one You can check out is Portland Gray 2109-60, Hope this Helps
