We're building a house this summer and in the house plans there is a 2.7 metre window, 0.9 metres high in the kitchen. Alongside that, we will have sliding doors on the adjacent walls. Our kitchen designer has proposed two options:
We put a Bora downdraft extractor and hob into the island (the ceilings are vaulted so overhead extraction wouldn't work)
or
We divide the window into two separate windows and put a hob in the middle, with an overhead extractor fan.
Thoughts??
