I'm planning on using a laminate herringbone floor throughout the downstairs of my house. Question is, has anyone had any issues laying it without any breaks or saddleboards? I like the look of it flowing throughout the house but it's quite a large space. From the front door to the back of the house it's approx 50ft (hallway, kitchen & playroom). I've heard that without a break there could be issues with expansion and also the warranty may not be valid. Anyone any advice?
I can see that your post was some time ago so you may well be sorted by now, if not, if you would like to send us a copy of your floor plan we would be very happy to take a look at them for you and give you advice. info@grainandgroove.ie
