Light fittings in kitchen

Cc

Hey folks

I think I have gone a little wrong in my kitchen lighting and wiring plan.

I have a mildly vaulted ceiling (so it's high) and originally i had planned to run a kitchen island down the centre with the table across the door at the back. So i positioned the two pendant light cables accordingly down the centre. There is a ring of spot lights all around the edge of the room.

Now the island will be shifted right closer to the main worktop and the table will run parallel on the other side closer to the door leaving my two centre lights hanging over nothing as such.

Moving/extending the cables is going to be challenging.

Will this look at bit daft? Any suggestions of light fittings for this sort of scenario? The purpose of the pendant lights are for more atmosphere and will be a warmer light than the recess lights.
