First, this is a lovely design. Second, I'm curious about how the underside is insulated and sheathed to cope with moisture and cold or is this only a summer place? Thanks, Sidney
Thank you! This is designed to be a year-round house and the underside is insulated with a closed cell spray-foam fully encapsulating all structure and plumbing lines. This is then covered with removable cementitious panels applied to the underside. The walls and roof are spray-foamed as well and the windows and doors all utilize triple-glazing.
