hi i would love some help and advice. im trying to decide on colour for hall stairs and landing walls. we have oak everywhere! stairs, doors, architrave and skirting. we have decided to paint architrave and skirting with farrow and ball pointing but keep doors and stairs oak. I want a nice neutral colour to go with this as a nice contrast? thinking skimming stone or joas white but not sure if these are too light? limited natural light in hall but upstairs has a bit more light. thank you
Joa's white is darker with a warm beige undertone and to be honest may look too warm with all the oak. Skimming Stone is lighter but does have a violet undertone and that may not work with the Pointing (which has a cream undertone). Have you bought the Pointing paint yet?
Hi colourhappy thank you for your comment. I haven't bought the pointing paint yet? Have you another suggestion other than this colour for the wood work? thank you for your help
