Hi Brian- the home was designed to replicate that of the historic Georgian structures in the local vicinity (of Kildare). The stone was custom coloured and fabricated for this project as it is cultured stone. I believe the company who manufactured it was in the British midlands and they launched a product line based on this project.
I will investigate the name and location of the manufacturer and get back to you.
Probably the most striking feature of this home is its use of stone corbeled eavestrough in lieu of the more contemporary wood or aluminium fascia and soffit. It required special consideration from the local planning authority as we introduced a continuous hidden vent between the eaves and the slate roofing.
I will get back to you when i get more details. Thanks for your interest.
