need help with curtain colour
Comments (39)Window shopping and lots of online browsing.! .haven't purchased anything yet!. Just getting house back in order after painting! I have put back the red/winey curtains that I previously had up...convinces me more to go with a neutral colour. The walls are rich Taupe but with a slight grey hue off them so I think the bottom left above actually might work. I have bedding very similar so I took them out and held up and think it would look very nice. Purple isn't a theme in my house (although I do have one bedroom painted purple/lilac) My sitting room is white red black and silver and living/kitchen room is tan and red. I want a rug that wont show up the dirt that much...I live in the country side and have lots of dirty feet coming in so I cant go for any rug that is too light in colour...See MoreDressing hallway sideboard advice
Comments (6)Nice art but a bit too large for this spot. See how the frame is above your door frame. If it were mine, since the door appears to open into the next room, I'd consider modifying the sideboard to be used as a rad cover and lower the art so its center is 5' above the floor. It can stand on its own, and you can paint the frame the same color as the sideboard to unify them and the space. You might also add an art light that attaches to the piece for more evening interest....See MoreNeed help with small entrance
Comments (2)The art in the last pic is hung way too high. I would suggest the shoe storage from Ikea with the flip down front is that a radiator in the hall where the stuff is sitting on top if not that is where the shoe storage could go with some nice hooks above for the coats that are used each day. Can the double buggy not be parked outside with a clear plastic cover to protect it instead of in this very small space....See MoreLayout help
Comments (11)HI - Why is the living room entrance so closed in and with a small single door. I think that could have been more open and no door needed . Start making a plan board with samples and photos of rooms you like and paint colors . Perhaps you should get some help from an interior designer one on one or perhaps a student designer might be cheaper and they need the work for their portfolios....See MoreSharon Charboneau, RESA Pro, Interior Stylist
