What are the floor tiles? I like them.

Nice lookin, plain and clean. I have an old kitchen too, but don't want a distracting floor.

Hello, the customer sourced them however I believe they were from Mandarin stone.

We have the wood look tile in our bathrooms, with under floor heat. I think they look nice and work great for the bathrooms. However, for your whole house you might want to think about the fact that they won't have the soft/warm feeling of real wood. They will sound like tile when people walk on them (loud footsteps when shoes are on), they are hard like tile, they are cold like tile (when the heat is off) and they will be echo-ey like tile.

Justine, in the case of a fire (probably starting in the kitchen) there must be direct escape (half hour protection at least) from the bedrooms in the attic to the exterior, it is not permissible to escape through a kitchen. The new stairs should be separate from the kitchen, if this is not possible then the attic should only be used as a study or play room and not a bedroom. adding a small bathroom extension to garage. 5ft wide and 12 ft long. Wet room on the end wall, whb in the middle and toilet on the other end wall. I would like to have a slate tile on the floor and walls of the wet room section. Should I tile the entire room floor in the slate too?
