Just a quick note to thank you all for sharing your thought, ideas, experience and time. I especially want to thank Bluenan and decoenthusiaste for being with me through the all process for the last 6 months or so..., just wanted to post few photos of the results (https://www.houzz.com/discussions/any-ideas-for-final-touches-to-this-living-dinning-room-dsvw-vd~569586) as I feel it is not only me who created this space but it is your creations as much as mine. It may not be perfect or according to the the "Rules", but it is Me and my family. Each and every piece was chosen by me in different parts of the world and each one of them has a unique story behind. I am very pleased with my space. I love it! I am very blessed. .... and so I am off to my new project now... Back to school.... that's really going to be hard ;) Thank you all, once again.

if you're not going to center the dining room table under the light, then I'd tend toward a flush or semi-flush fixture, to de-emphasize the alignment. You might want to remove the medallion from the ceiling too. As for the kitchen it looks like you have decent overall lighting -- maybe you're looking for a couple of pendants over the island? simple glass globes, maybe? here are a few styles to start you out.

I think most of the non-pro's who comment on here love interior design so aren't likely to have used a pro tbh but I may well be wrong! I'd have a word with AJ, you can also look at her design dilemma suggestions for others houses if you go onto her profile. alternatively click onto the find pro section and search for designers in London. You can have a look at their galleries, reviews and indicative costs. Or you could just post each room on here and all types of people will provide feedback! The potential downside of this is you may not get a cohesive look, plus it may be time consuming for a whole house. In terms of the hall, white needs light to work and the end looks a little dark although that may just be the pic as my iPad turns even the brightest rooms dark! The tiles also appear more cream than white so maybe a white with a yellow or even a red undertone may work best or a pale, warm neutral. I think it looks great so far. Many of the ads for claw foot tubs, and magazines, show them with encaustic/cement tile and plain white surround. Also, you did something creative and attractive with the tile layout. I love the nickel shine of your clawfoot legs too. If you can maybe get a corner shelf on one side of the wall, you'll have a place for soap, candle or bubble bath. And maybe hotel towel holder on another wall to get the height up.
