It's great how it uses thin and thicker pieces and I also love being able to see the bolts on each piece. What wood is used here? Looks like cherry but I cannot be sure and is it engineered or solid wood?
I believe it's actually solid Oak. It was original flooring that was installed when the place was built. If you show this to an installer, I'm sure you can ask them to install it with the "bolts" as shown. Good luck! :O)
