Lighting and cantilever

Hi there. Great project and photo. Interested in the mechanics of the cantilever - whether you used metal or wooden supports and also the type of lighting you used under the bench - please could you elaborate as I'm building something very similar myself. As there isn't a standard way to build these, I'm interested to know what's tried and tested. Thanks!
