My guess here would be that the lighting is achieved with outdoor spike lights. The spike goes into ground easily and fittings have adjustable heads that allow you to direct the light at the desired angle.
The other option would be recessed outdoor down-lights. The lighting cannot be directed, but they are very durable and easy to install. Down-lights are great choice for driveways and patios.
The lighting effect is easily achievable with both but it really depends on what are your surrounds and preferences.
Hope this helps and if you have any questions feel free to contact us by emailing customerservice@litecraft.co.uk or by calling 0161 359 4777
They are collingwood stainless steel 3 watt warm white spike spotlights, although for some reason which completely baffles me, Collingwood have recently seen fit only to produce this light in a frosted steel finish, which doesn't match a lot of their other fittings.
