Our new kitchen

Have cherrywood windows and brazilian mahogony doors and skirtings. Want to paint my cherry wood kitchen units and cant see what might work colour wise with the doors and windows

Has anyone used farrow & ball slipper satin with skimming stone & charleston grey? We are using skimming stone on perimeter units which is in L-shape and charleston grey on island with 'lagoon' silestone worktop in our new kitchen. House is a new build and very well lit, we have windows/sliding door on three sides of room. Apologies no photos as not installed yet. We have all lower units apart from two tall press areas to integrate fridge, cooker etc into and one wall hung press as didn't want to crowd wall. Also looking at wimborne white in F&B and Subtle in Colourtrend brand. Ideally would like a good neutral that would work throughout a large part of house if possible. Not too grey or cream. We are considering getting a glass back splash for our new kitchen but are unsure regarding hard wearing or do they crack over time esp with the heat from the cooker. Also any recommendations of good suppliers in the Dublin area. Thanks

Glass splashbacks are a great idea , glass is so easy to keep ! there is such an extensive range of colours available ! It finishes off a kitchen so nicely tiles are great too but there's an awful lot of upkeep involved !

Colours for kitchen and sink placement?

Attached are drawings and an image of our new kitchen - I am struggling with best place for sink - our hob is on the back wall rather than the island - so currently island is just seating and storage. Also will include some colours I was thinking of using for cabinets - we are thinking island the darker colour with wall cabinets the brighter colour. All advice or thoughts welcome!
