Would love to know the brand and also the size of this cabin. I am trying to find a stove to heat a 490 sq foot cottage.

I know you posted your query a long time ago, but if anyone else is looking, a similar style stove would be the Morso Squirrel with the longer leg option.

Codes require that a fireplace flue terminate 2' above any adjacent structure within 10'. This is for two reasons...draft issues and fire issues. If your situation can follow these guidelines there are some chimney cap solutions you may be able to use to insure good draft in a windy area.

The only problem is you are going for a traditional fireplace and granite is a fairly modern look you could go for a lighter shade , remember its your house if you like the look stick to it. I would go into some fireplace shops and see what they look like, i'am sure whatever you put down will look lovely.
