I want to paint my kitchen walls inclusive of where the presses are so the wall with the window and the wall to the right. The island is a sage colour. I am thinking a very light heather colour so the kitchen will tie in with the living room (pic2) & get a rug for under the finish table to link the two. Any opinions? PS. I'm thinking of getting a yellow rig for the living room under the poof & front two legs of each of the couches
keep it simple .too many colours will make the rooms look cramped try a cream rug , your paint work in the kitchen its a bright room try a soft grey .fresh flowers will be great in a big vase can get you your bit of yellow,
I think the heather and sage tones will work well together. Putting rugs under dining tables isn't that practical for clearing up if you have kids or grand kids. I also like the sound of the yellow, but it would have to be very pale. Grey might work better, good luck x
