need suggestions for a friend

i have a friend who is in a tiny social housing unit, with two very sick children. mother and child sleep in one room, two boys in another, one is very sick and an older child is in yet another, the mother is very concerned for the 13yr old sharing, who is sick. i can imagine how a small place can get someone down, are there ways of rejigging the arrangements in a small home like this, or is this something that can only be helped by getting another from the council. which isnt going to happen any day soon

Hi Annken. Sorry to hear of your friend's difficulty, its great that you're trying to help out.
Do I understand correctly; it's a 3 bedroom house, occupied by the mother and 4 children. Two boys share a room, and one of them is ill, the younger child shares with the mother and the older child has his/her room. which of these children is unwell if I may ask?
would it be possible for the child that is well(of the older 3) can have a section of the living area with a sleeper couch, and the unwell children may each have a room

well its a bungalow i think, but yes, i think its a three bed house. everyone is jammed in and the teenager is getting stressed and upset, he has major health issues and autism. its not a bad idea for a sleeper couch or one of those beds that flatten against the wall. a bit of creative thinking i think it could be made better, but its more like a hospital than anything with monitors, drip stands meds, tubing and all manner of equipment, she basically is trying to keep two children alive!

I spoke to a rep in the UK who confirmed the tiles are still current, but not available in UK or Ireland. I'll continue to try & speak to the manufacturer & hopefully it will come to a happy ending. I know I won't be 100% happy with anything else.

i'd do charcoal or lighter grey with charcoal in it., ideally hung to the ceiling and touching the floor. measure floor to ceiling, buy the length that covers the most space, put the rods at that height.
