What type of kitchen splashback!?

Hi
We've finished knocking down our kitchen dining room wall a few months and still trying to decide on what type of splashback. I was thinking of glass splashback in turquoise or else maybe grey tiles. Hoping to get this done before Christmas! Any ideas welcome

I quite like glass metro tiles.

If you wanted a glass splashback most glass companies should be able to match a specific colour but make sure that is toughened. I wouldn't recommend mirror just because of the heat from the cooker.

Another options is that bushboard make a splashback they have some very funky designs.

You should be able to bring a sample home - leave it in the kitchen for a couple of days to see it in various lights - if *you* like it then it "compliments"

Either could be laid- you would need to use different adhesives on the wood or concrete though. There isn't much difference between- I would look for a reputable supplier and not online though as the decent quality may not be there. Any tiles can be laid on a diagonal if your tiler is good enough! Jade

Thanks a mil. Sorry I posted it a few times from my phone! Yes I'm leaning towards the glass. Will take a look at some colours.
