What style of bedside light to match this light fitting

HI,

I have bought this light fitting for my bedroom. I'm going for a romantic style, the walls are a Dulux Tempting Taupe with one of the walls Dulux Almendra behind the bed.

I'm going to have dark wood bedside tables & chest of drawers and a fabric deep buttoned fabric headboard with a divan bed.

What type of bedside lamps would you put with this fitting? I bought it on light in the box. com.

I would get table lamps with glass bases. Simple lines and clear glass.

I would also definitely go white if the windows are on the green wall. Will be much more natural to tie the accent wall with the stark wht contrasting walls. Always a very chic contemporary look. Also very relaxing as opposed to the treatments standing out when you already have your standout feature- the green accent wall. Great white bed you ordered! Then I love all the blue/green/ silver accent advice. I did a similar room in purples/greys/ whites and we used great posted prints of florals with a little oriental flair in nice big mats w frames. You could do florals or nice big botanicals in greens would be very fresh and modern!! White or silver frames or maybe even the shock of black would be cool.

I'm looking for a light fitting for my hall way and wire pendant style lights have caught my attention, however my mum thinks that the shadows and lines they'd create on the walls would be annoying. Melissa, when I said footboard, I meant this. It has a portion of the bed that extends beyond the mattress edge. You posted a bed that had something at the foot section of the bed. By platform, I mean a bed that has a hard area and only a mattress on it. Like this. It does not extend beyond the edge of the mattress, but does not have a box spring. It is also lower to the ground. The picture you posted was a high profile bed and box spring. It was not on a typical bed frame. A standard bed frame, used with box spring and mattress looks like this. Virtually invisible and does not extend out beyond the mattress/box spring set. That being said, I'd recommend you get a headboard that is not too big for your space. Neither in height or depth (distance from the wall). I would also not get a mattress frame that extends beyond the size of the mattress. Sorry to have not been clear before.

Love your light. I agree glass lamps would go nicely. John Lewis have a great selection of lamps.
