Need colour help for white kitchen

Hi,
I'm looking for some ideas for our new white kitchen. We have a pale quartz counter top and light grey tiles on the floor. I was thinking of a turqouise glass splashback to bring some colour but leaving the walls pale. Will this be too light and bright with the white kitchen? I have a nice big light fitting for over our dining table which has magenta, cyan blue, yellow, red and lime green in it.

Comments (10)Hi Maria. It's a lovely kitchen and I must admit I like the white so would probably change the accessories. I would add a huge sunburst clock or mirror above the cabinets (can't work out if it's a clock or mirror above the fire). Add a statement light over the table. Try a coloured splashback behind the cabinets. Add some coloured stools. I would say paint the kitchen chairs but I can see they are good quality! If you do want to paint then either blues, violets or even a very soft grey if you add some coloured accesories. 9 years agolast modified: 9 years agoIf you choose a colour for your splash back and then use matching kitchen accessories on your work surface you will really be able to inject some vibrancy into an already stunning kitchen.

9 years agoGreat thanks for the ideas. We got the room painted yesterday white so will think about the splashback idea and adding accessories for colour. Our light fittings are from National Lighting in Dublin. Ive another light fitting to add over our table so it should add some colour
