I want to hang a bed from a ceiling with no roof access

I have a tiny room which I want to convert to living/study/spare bedroom. Having been through all the various 'bed options' that were affordable and I had space for, decided that I wanted a 'hanging bed' which would be on ropes which I could pull up into the ceiling when not in use. The problem my builder faces is that the roof is a flat one and he has no access to the roof. Would anyone be able to suggest a solution to this - how to reinforce it please?The existing ceiling is slabbed and it is a felt roof which he wouldn't want to open as it could leak.... Thank you
