Lighting on my landing

I am in the middle of a new build with a 1930s feel. I am having difficulty with lighting on my landing. Ceilings are about 8 ft 6 in and I don't know whether I should go wall light, up lighters or centre lights - the only natural light coming directly into the hall is through a large stain glass window - any suggestions really welcome.

I am afraid I am quite unable to tx photos on to computer. The landing is 1.75 metres wide and 6.75 metres wide with 7 doors off it. At present I have wired it for two ceiling lights and two lamp plugs but I am now wondering should I include two wall lights for soft light. Have to decide for my electrician!!

Mid grey/charcoal colour would make the pink look very chic and modern. It is also a great colour (we have it in our house) as its light enough that it doesn't show every crumb etc and dark enough to get away with not having to vac every day!

I am a fan of black as a disappearing colour! If the tha bannisters were painted black the Victorian look of cast iron would fit. The walls are too pale , would you consider a dark green( FB Green Smoke) under the rail, next to the carpet, and a much lighter version above( FB Light Blue or Pale Powder). Not really sure of the shade of green in the carpet, it might be more FB Oval Room. I am fond of the Pugin look but realise it is powerful and invariably used with very dark paints. We changed our ginger brown stairs, over 3 storeys to white. 13 years later the effort was not only worth it but the pain has subsided too!

hello there. How about two wall sconces, one on either side of the mirror, and a roof light in the centre. I can't help with particular ones/ where to source them, but I think in this space, something rounded or square will work. You can also consider a light at the shower
