This was an old pine table i painted in old white and paris grey( annie sloan chalk paint ) on the top. I distressed the legs and cross bar a bit but it needs more and i am not sure what. Before i wax can anyone help with ideas to pull it together and give it an old french look maybe ???
Hi Aileen, Your table turned out beautifully! If you wanted a more French look, maybe distress the white paint a little on the edges. Would love to see the final product!
We rub a warm cream lacquer into our furniture and cabinetry details to create that aged french country look. You'd have to thin the paint out and test it out in an area to see how much white you want to see. Ask at your paint store for help! It's truly a lovely table!
