advice needed on Exterior house colour

Hi there, I am wondering about possible options for upgrading the exterior of a house that we are potentially looking to buy, it is an ordinary 3 bed semi detached house, the bottom half is red brick and the top half is a horrid pink-ish colour. a few of the neighbouring houses have painted the top half a cream-y / beige colour which I don't like either. Does anyone have suggestions as to what colours may work? I don't really want to post a full photo as it is not our house but here is a zoomed in pic to show the colour in question..
