Hi we want light oak windows and want the best neutral house color to go with them. We were thinking of taupe with white trim but do not know if that suits. Help please!
Taupe and oak don't look good together at all as they're too close to each other so they clash.
The colors that do look wonderful with oak and similar wood colors are olive and gray greens along with gray blues. We've been putting in a lot of wood trim so I've had to analyze this for the last several months. Here are some colors I think work well with wood:
